The math tutor that asks you the next step
Paste a problem, snap a photo of your worksheet, or ask about the line in your notes that stopped making sense. SparkMentor works through it with you, step by step, so the method is yours by the end and not just the answer.
What you can bring
Type it, paste it or snap a photo. The tutor starts from where you are, including from your own wrong attempt.
- A calculus question you got wrong and can't see why
- A photo of a worksheet or a textbook exercise
- Proofs you can follow but couldn't write yourself
- Word problems where the setup is the hard part
- Statistics questions that need the right test, not just the arithmetic
- A topic before a test: "quiz me on integration by parts"
How a session goes
SparkMentor teaches the way a good private tutor does: it explains, then hands the next step back to you.
Student: How do I differentiate sin(x²)? I keep getting cos(x²).
SparkMentor: Close: cos(x²) handles the outside. What's the function sitting inside the sine?
Student: The x². So I need its derivative too?
SparkMentor: Exactly. Which rule tells you to multiply by the inside's derivative, and what does that give you here?
Student: The chain rule. So 2x·cos(x²).
The slip is saved to your mistake log under "chain rule", and the tutor offers a short card so it comes back for review before your next test.
01
One step at a time, with the reason
Each step comes with why it works, and the tutor stops to ask you for the next one. When you're stuck it gives a hint before it gives the move.
02
Equations that look like equations
Fractions, integrals, matrices and limits render as proper math notation, in the chat and in your notes, so nothing gets lost in a tangle of slashes and carets.
03
Graphs when a picture helps
For a function's shape, a geometry figure or a probability tree, the tutor can draw an illustration that matches its explanation. It offers one; it draws only when you tap.
04
Your mistakes become your practice
Every correction is logged against the concept behind it. Quizzes and review cards are built from those weak spots, not from a generic question bank.

Features you'll use for math
Each one has its own page: how it works, what it costs.
- Step-by-step tutoringPaste or type any math, physics or chemistry problem and SparkMentor works through it step by step, asking you for the next move so the method sticks.
- Snap a problemTake a photo of a worksheet or textbook page and SparkMentor reads the problem and tutors you through it step by step, instead of just printing an answer.
- Mistake trackerSparkMentor logs every correction against the concept behind it, then builds quizzes and review from your weak spots, so practice goes where it counts.
- AI illustrationsWhen a picture helps, SparkMentor offers a diagram, graph or figure drawn for that exact explanation: a function's shape, a cell, a circuit. Only when you tap.

Questions students ask
Will the AI math tutor just give me the answer?
Not by default. SparkMentor is a Socratic tutor: it explains each step, asks you for the next one, and gives hints before moves. If you only want to check a final answer you can ask for that, but the point is that you can solve the next one alone.
Can I upload a photo of a math problem?
Yes. Snap or upload a photo of a worksheet, textbook page or handwritten attempt, and the tutor reads it and starts from where you are.
Which levels of math does it cover?
High-school and university math: algebra, functions, trigonometry, calculus, vectors, statistics and probability, through to the first years of a university course. It also follows Indian board and entrance syllabi such as CBSE, ICSE, JEE and CUET.
Is it free?
